Practice makes perfect as everyone has heard this saying before. In the future, I plan on practicing my speeches more by speaking in front of a mirror over and over again to give myself the impression of what I look like when speaking in front of a group of people. Practicing in front of a mirror over and over again will also help me memorize my speech more instead of relying on my note card as often, giving me more confidence while speaking. I tend to use my note card as a comforting thing when I get nervous and forget what I am about to say. I used my hands a lot, I swayed my body throughout the speech, was very fidgety and used “um” and “like” a lot as word fillers. I noticed I did not have as good eye contact in this speech as I did in the persuasive speech because I had to do a lot of thinking to remember where what was going to say in the next part of the story I was giving. I tried not to rely on my note card as much during this speech and I could tell that I definitely feel more comfortable being able to rely on my notecard that not being able to. My organization was not the best compared to my persuasive speech because it is hard when you are talking about people and giving a story without having an outline to really follow. I did have a loud and clear speaking voice, but I was speaking in a rushed and quick
