Not only was QVC’s strategy to appeal to the consumers by marketing exclusive products from celebrities and designers, but to use those products to build relationships with customers. QVC thrived on giving customer’s an experience not just marketing products like other home shopping networks. QVC valued customer interaction. The company recognized it was imperative to find the right host to present and demonstrate products on live television, therefore each host went through 6-months of extensive training. The QVC host plays an integral part in engaging the viewers through storytelling and interaction. QVC’s host need to be engaging, friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly convey detailed product information while enticing consumers to the channel. Otherwise, viewers will just change the television channel and opt out from purchasing. …show more content…
QVC needs to develop aggressive marketing campaigns to generate more publicity to the company and attract new audiences in the future. In addition, the company must continue to invest in digital platforms, expand their presence, and evolve with the ever-changing
