After listening to the segments, “Mail About it” and “Boxed In,” I learned a great deal about the retail industry. I enjoyed learning about Victor Gruen, shopping malls, department stores, discount stores, self-service, and the other counterparts of shopping today.
I love to shop at department stores, specifically Neiman Marcus. The reason I love to shop there is because of the variety of brands they offer, their excellent customer service, and well-organized store. One example I had at Neiman Marcus was a time when I needed to get a dress for an event. I told the Neiman Marcus Employee that loved the dress, but it needed to be hemmed. She then made a phone call and the seamstress on staff came and did my hemming in 1 hour, no charge. They
