As President Obama’s second term comes to an end, the election for the next president is underway. The leading Republican candidate is well known billionaire and businessman, Donald Trump. On June 16th, 2016, the Whitehouse officially announces that Trump will be running in this campaign and creates much controversy since. President Donald Trump is a good businessman, however Trump has not enough political knowledge and not enough respect for people to become a successful president because Trump is disrespectful, plans to cause more harm than easing, and is a racist person. Notably, Trump mocks, insults, and does quite a lot of careless action. During Trump’s campaign, Trump mocks a handicap news reporter in South Carolina. The New York Times news reporter Serge Kovaleski, suffers from a congenital joint condition. While rallying, Trump got the audience’s attention to look at Kovaleski before mocking Kovaleski by waving various body parts such as arms and hands, in uncommon angles. This is an act of bullying that is intolerable due to the reality that this condition is not a choice and cannot change. Also, Trump insults numerous people, for instance Cher, who is known as the Goddess of Pop music. Trump tweets through social media, “@cher should spend more time focusing on her family and dying career!” which is very offensive because it insults Cher’s career and talent. Trump’s absurd behaviour doesn’t stop there; Trump makes an inappropriate remark about military crimes. Due to the amount of sexual assaults in the military and Trump comments, “What did these geniuses expect when they put men and women together” which is unsuitable and unnecessary. Trump has nothing to do with the situation and this just shows how ignorant Trump is. Therefore, Trump’s lack of respect by mocking people with disabilities, bringing people down, and inappropriate remarks are not sought in the …show more content…
Sadly, Trump would not make a superior president because Trump is racist to Mexicans, Chinese, and Muslims. In particular, Trump plans to build a large wall across the southern American border along Mexico because Trump believes that Mexicans smuggle illegal drugs and illegal immigrants into America. Trump is a firm believer of the stereotype that Mexicans smuggle drugs and immigrants which is unfair being that not everyone is the same and not everyone has these intentions. There are many Mexicans that do not have this objective to harm America. Another example of Trump being racist is towards the Chinese population. Trump believes that China is a “currency manipulator”. This is another stereotype that many people believe because China’s population is the largest in the world and China has more industries. Trump completely ignores the Chinese as seen earlier about global warming and also in the belief that the Chinese are trying to surpass America’s economy. Although these are only assumptions, that does not give Trump authority to criticize the Chinese population because of China’s accomplishments. Even more, Trump is racist towards anyone of the Muslim decent. Trump’s further plans include deporting all Muslims and to reject all Syrian refugees into the country. Subsequently, Trump reasoning for planning to abolish Muslims in America is because of the recent bombings throughout the world such

Additionally, Trump played on the fear of the audience by suggesting she is responsible for ISIS. He does this to create a link between the fear of ISIS and the fear of Hillary running the country. Following this, Trump suggests that Hillary is not tough enough to be a good diplomat. He achieves this by jesting that whenever she tries to play tough with Putin, he laughs at her. Questioning Hillary 's toughness is potent because many people still think that females in general are not tough enough to be president and, this serves to further the bias.…

Trump’s aggressiveness on immigration is unconstitutional. His dictator-like qualities, such as punishing those who burn the American flag, can be compared to when Hitler punished those who questioned his authority and went against his beliefs. Forcefully removing undocumented immigrants would mean spending government money and raising our tax dollars. Many citizens will not want to pay taxes so the government could deport a family member from the country. All in all, the strong united nation we have built could soon come to an end because of America’s poor decision…

In an interview, Donald John Trump, an American businessperson and a Republican candidate running for president, specified: “ The immigrants are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists. It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America. Gopnik believes that the “People aren’t meant to believe it; they’re meant to be intimidated by it” (Gopnik 3). “It” is the lies that Trump tells to the people of the United States. Relating to some of Trump’s lies, Trump does not desire for people’s trust but instead, fear. He wants citizens to fear him and his potential of singling out a specific group and damage their reputation or people’s opinions of them. For example, the statement that there are “300 million illegal voters”, singles out immigrants and damages their reputation because they are seen as participants of illegal…

He has claimed that illegal immigrants are stealing jobs from legal citizens, that they’re merely rapists, drug dealers and killers. He plans on instituting more border control and ensuring that the jobs are given to Americans first. This is the type of forward thinking that will make America’s economy prosper. However, regardless of any proposed ideas, Donald Trump is a hot-head businessman with little to no political experience who has little regard for whether or not people like him. Trump once put forth a plan regarding 25% tariff on Chinese goods. Although this plan made Trump gain some followers, the bottom line is that this proposal has the possibility to start a war.…

Trump’s use of name-calling is like a double-edged sword, not only does it give the recipient a bad name but it also causes people to question their character. This tactic can also be known as “silencing”, and is usually used to bully people into not being able to say what they want since no one will believe them (Stanley 261). Often times whatever they’re calling the person is nothing then a rumor or even a false accusation. These statements can lead to people not trusting them and at worst they can even lose their jobs over it. In one case, Donald Trump used this tactic against his opponent and fellow republican Jeb Bush by saying that he was “Low energy”(qtd.…
