Presidential elections have been a time where many American citizens have gathered to vote for their favorite candidate, but the upcoming presidential nomination, has created controversy with its leading candidates. Presidents have been nominated due to their views on policies such as Abraham Lincoln on slavery. However, a lot has been discussed about who’s going to be the elected president this following November, will it be Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton, former secretary of state, has shown persistence since the 2008 election, decided to run for office, by hopefully, being the first woman president. Hillary Clinton’s resume for POTUS, is greatly better than Trumps’, since Clinton has served as a Senator for 8 years, Secretary of the State for 4 years and over a decade in public services. On the other hand, Trump has never served in office, thus having no knowledge about government. By not having political experience, Trump will think with from a business perspective, going for the greediness and often favoring the corporate side. The United States isn’t a business, but much larger than that, it includes the personal lives of millions of people. Trump made accusations about what he plans to change, but often he doesn’t mention how he is actually going to do it. Often, just providing one-liners that he can’t back up and provide actual information on, since he isn’t an actual politician. However, Clinton is well experienced and precise on her views. Hillary Clinton has proven, that she is determined to take the role of the President, by having the right mindset and by applying the skills she has earned over the …show more content…
Hillary Clinton has helped countless of minority families and children while she was the First Lady of Arkansas. Over the period of 12 years, she has found the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, and has led the Arkansas Educational Standards Committees, and other helping organizations (Bio). She has taken in the time to provide for people in need, and thus will continue to act on during her presidency. She has supported the Black Lives Matter movement and advocated immigration reforms, encouraging the minority vote. Over the campaign, Trump has publicly humiliated minorities and has shown no remorse in the consequences of his words. He has claimed that Hispanics are rapists, Muslims being terrorist, and women being pigs. The hatred and disrespectful attitude that Trump has isn’t fit for president. Recently at one of his rallies, he bashed at one of his own supporters simply because her baby began to cry. This shows that if Donald Trump was agitated at a simple, innocent thing, one can imagine the trouble, he would cause to America if a conflict
