Donald Trump Dbq

Decent Essays
Donald Trump should not be president for the year 2016. First of all, what amazingly beneficial things will he do for America? He is a republican; he cares not for America and all of her citizens but for money and if he becomes president America will be ruined. Trump is not a man with the experience of war, or being in charge of a whole country and all the people in it, but a man of business and economy. Also if he is elected for the leader of our country, and if he has the generosity, he could get all of the citizens of America out of debt. Donald Trump is also sexist against females. He claims to cherish women, but his actions and words suggest otherwise. In an interview with Megyn Kelly, Trump admits to calling women he doesn’t like fat

Hillary Clinton’s resume for POTUS, is greatly better than Trumps’, since Clinton has served as a Senator for 8 years, Secretary of the State for 4 years and over a decade in public services. On the other hand, Trump has never served in office, thus having no knowledge about government. By not having political experience, Trump will think with from a business perspective, going for the greediness and often favoring the corporate side. The United States isn’t a business, but much larger than that, it includes the personal lives of millions of people. In his valedictory speech at the White House correspondents' Dinner Obama observed "Next year someone else will be here, and it's anyone guess who she will be" Yes, the one who has been good at defaming people and spew such hatred does not deserve to be the president of United States. So the question must be asked; do we really want this man as our next Commander in Chief? As far as eligibility, Donald Trump meets all requirements for a presidential candidate, but many people find his actions unpresidential. This is mostly related to the crude things he has been known to see over the past couple of months. For example, speaking one day in Iowa, Donald Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose voters,” (Source 5). Donald Trump was looked down upon for this comment and definitely not the over-confidence that should be found in a President.…

Donald Trump did not win the popular vote, and there is no proof of voter fraud to this day. Like George W. Bush in the year 2000, Trump won due to the electoral college, the system America uses to select presidents. Thus, the argument cannot be made that Trump beat Hillary Clinton unfairly, supposing we find no evidence of Russian influence. Even if Trump won with 23 percent of the popular vote, the lowest possible number that allows a victory in the electoral college, it still would be fair, although possibly hurting his ego slightly. This is because he won using the system that we agreed upon before votes were cast.…

The Twitter War President Trump is only significant through his use of social media to connect to the People. Trump is listened to and followed on twitter because he uses the POTUS account, and people follow the president. He also only posts very controversial things which attract people’s attention and has them respond in either negative or positive ways. Finally, Mr. President just cannot help the fact that he is a spoiled and entitled brat who likes to rant on a social media platform also used by twelve year olds who rant about how their parents will not let them out of the house after ten-thirty or how they ‘need a man’ who can provide for them.…

The Telegraph produced a list containing every instance in which Donald Trump made a sexist remark towards women. In all, there were 31 different instances between 1990 and 2016 where Donald Trump demoralized women. The most prevalent of which is of him objectifying female reporters and celebrities based on their appearances. A jarring example of this is in 2009, when a Miss USA pageant contestant came out about the “Trump rule.” Trump being a co-owner of the pageant would automatically eliminate any girls from the pageant that he didn’t find attractive.…
