Pixar's Toy Story

Improved Essays
Pixar did originally attract animators away from Disney, but once Disney realized they couldn’t get them

back, they decided to partner and make Toy Story. But, of course Steve found a way to make more

money off of Pixar, and on the day it launched on the market it was worth over $1.2 billion. Jobs also

made a deal with Michael Eisner, with Disney, to share all profits evenly. Within the first weekend, the

movie got an opening of $30 million. It also became the top-grossing film of the year. Steve kept

repeatedly saying that Pixar was the main company in the movie and Disney was only a side company,

but by 1997 Pixar and Disney made a deal to make 5 films over the course of ten years. Jobs had a great

ability to make great companies

Professor Faden did not steal a full work from Disney, it was only a small amount of it and was used for educational purposes. So, Faden can use Fair Use as a defense against Disney, just because Disney has more lawyers doesn’t mean they can win every case. Also. Faden used the work respectfully, it was created to show the Copyright laws telling people everything they shouldn’t do so they don’t get in trouble. I think without this video, there would be a lot more people using too much of people’s work because they don’t know how Copyright works.…

For years I have been watching the Star Wars movies, never thinking I would actually see one for the first time in theaters. The last Star Wars movie to hit theaters in my life time was Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith in 2005, and it was stinker. If you ask anyone who considers themselves a fan of the Star Wars movies, they will tell you the first trilogy was some of the best cinema ever created, and the second trilogy was in comparison just completely awful. In fact a lot of people wish the second set didn’t even happen. It is seen as a blemish on the other wise complete pure skin of the Star Wars franchise.…
