These would included leadership skills. Theses can be both natural or acquired. While there are several theories as the origin of this type of personally, the physician leader has be able to lead.They also through their personality projection must be perceived a the leader. If they are not perceived as the leader whether intentionally or non intentionally their lead will not be followed. The other aspects are fairness and honesty. If a leader is perceived as not being honest, the staff, or group will not follow their direction. This could result in chaos in the organization. Honesty is one the most important traits anybody can have and especially in a work situation. Finally fairness is important. As in any social or business situation conflict will arise. The physician leader needs to be fair and unbiased. The leader need to hear all side and come to a rational judgment based on the facts and not personal relationships or favors.
