Personal Trait Inventory Analysis An entrepreneur’s personality can largely affect their work ethic and performance, therefore it is ideal for that person to be exceptionally self-aware. When an entrepreneur is made aware of himself, they are then given the desire and empowerment to make changes and to build on areas of strength as well as identify areas where improvements would be necessary. Self-awareness also allows a young business person to have efficacy, otherwise known as the ability to produce a desired or intended result. Several surveys were taken in order to assess if my own personality is compatible to be an entrepreneur.

Big Five Style Survey The general consensus in academic psychology is that there are five fundamental personality traits which consists of: extraversion, conscientiousness, neuroticism, agreeableness, and openness. Extraversion reflects how much a person is oriented towards things outside of themselves and derive a satisfaction from interacting with other people, conscientiousness reflects how careful and orderly that individual is, neuroticism is the tendency to experience negative emotions, agreeableness reflects how much a person tries to please others, and lastly, openness reflects how much a person seeks out new experiences. This survey was scored on a range from 1 to 5 and demonstrated with a percentile that represented the percent of other people the tester scored higher than. According to the results of this survey, I…
