Personal Narrative: The Day My Mom Changed My Life

238 Words 1 Page
My mother has been through so much in her life. She has fought for not only me, but my entire family, and this country. The day my mother enlisted into the military my whole life spun around, no more late night conversations, no more early morning breakfast, no more one on one when I needed her. I had no one because my father was never there, my grandfather was paralyzed and my grandmother had her own set of problems, at that time. Those eight months of boot camp were the longest, most detrimental times of my life; She even missed my brothers first day of kindergarten.
