In particular, in my role as a Shift Supervisor at Police Assistance Centre and A/ DAO at Communications Division, I liaised on a daily basis with senior managers, staff at all levels, other agencies and members of the public. The operator has since asked for assistance in interpreting difficult handwriting and consistently includes all details written on incident reports.
My current role as an A/Project Officer requires me to liaise with various clients from a diverse range of businesses, either through face-to-face consultations, over the phone or via email. I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills through daily dealings with clients and colleagues as well as deal with complex

Clarence, I agree with you completely that older generations follow the motto “a hard day’s work for an honest day’s pay”. I work with a few older employees and they work 5x harder than some of the younger employees I work with. I also received a 35 on my EI test which I was not surprised of either. I have a very high work ethic and have very little time for play in my job. I do need to learn to put myself in others shoes; sometimes this is very hard for me to do.…

Show respect for your employees by not covering up bad news or giving it a positive spin, as most people will be able to see straight through it. Employees will not be able to help their company to embrace change if they are not made aware of the situation, or the chosen course of action. A manager must be able to tell their employees what is expected of them, sympathise with their situation, and publicly recognise individual and team performances. Communicate as much as possible about as much as possible.…
