MRE Report Scenarios

Monday, March 7th, 2016 at approximately at 0700, I Recruit Reynoso, was starting my third week of the Aurora Police Department academy at 25950 E. Quincy Ave. Aurora, Colorado in Arapahoe County. This week we started with MRE training with Sergeant Yorchak and PTI Pavletic. Sergeant Yorchak explained how to use the MRE program to write our reports. I learned how to write the reports, and place suspects, victims, unidentified person, vehicle and property information into the MRE program. This week we had Verbal Communications Techniques with PTI Montgomery. In this class I learned that the goal of law enforcement is to generate voluntary compliance with the community. PTI Montgomery, explained five steps of hard style when contacting people.
