As a recent graduate with a 1st Class degree in Geography, I am able to meet the requirements outlined in the job specification (see enclosed CV document). I am now looking to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during my degree into the workplace and a graduate role with Ch2m offers me the perfect opportunity to do this.
During my final year at university, I specialised in environmental research, climate science, sustainability and geoinformatics and so these aspects of the scheme appeal to me most. As part of my studies, I undertook a number of group and independent projects (detailed within my CV), so I am comfortable working autonomously or as part of a team. I also acquired excellent organisation and communication abilities that are reflected in my 1st class project grades and feedback from lecturers. Since completing my studies in June, these skills have been continuously developed throughout my customer facing role at ASDA. Often I am required to complete several tasks simultaneously and must work toward strict time limits, sales and customer service targets.
