Although I struggled with it, I manage to push through it everyday, I never wanted to give up. Even though I felt like giving up, I told myself “DON’T EVER GIVE UP”. So, as long as I try and keep my grades up, I’ll do just fine. I have a good aspect with Literacy. I remember my freshman year at Chrisman in my English 1 class, I would take writing essays or poems and I would get a perfect score on them. Even though I hated writing at some point, I learned to learn my skills in Literacy. I really enjoy to write. Even from reading from plays parts, short readings, even a paragraph. Those are types of reading stuff that I don’t like. Like in my English 3 class at Fort. We just finished the movie, “The Crucible”. Tremendous play and movie. I loved every part of it, but back to the point. While our class was reading this play, most of our class developed the skill of reading and writing skills: test about parts of the play. But, I will admit when I do read, I stutter when I read. I feel all the pressure, when i have to read in front of my class.That is an aspect I have when I have to read. Rather than having my teacher read our part, we have to read, and I’m sure most students in my 1st hour class go through the same thing. I’ll be honest when I just read, like kinda of a Free-Write, I really just want to speak aloud my words on my paper. It helps me, see if the writing piece sounds correct. I believe this idea helps me with my love for Literacy (writing). One thing about my Free-Write I do when I have free time in my class is being able to literally cut loose, like a bull coming out of his cage. Being able to just cut loose and attack the page with my words, gives a good impact for Literacy. This style of writing creates a warm and good feeling inside of me when I
