Personal Narrative: My Literacy Journey

I believe Literacy is a KEY, which opens mysteries treasures with in Universe. Journey within life becomes more meaningful with the knowledge of literacy. Knowledge is a power, and if there is no KEY than there will be no access to treasures of knowledge. Also life will become meaningless moreover we will not be able to comprehend the meaning of life neither improve our self’s. Surely precious assets along with valuable and significantly important treasures need to be kept in are secure lock places. This is the reason I choose KEY as a metaphor for my literacy journey. Once the doors and treasures start it to open with a KEY, and than one can start the journey that can lead to success and happiness. Throughout my adolescent he set a great effective learning environment, always making reading fun for me. I grow up seen him read all the time, whether travelling, waiting in a cue, on the way to work moreover any free time he had he filled it with reading. This motivation that kept me interesting in reading, to this day. My school teachers play significant role through my literacy journey, setting a positive environment for me to engage in and become more comfortable with my surroundings makes more effective way to aid myself as a student. My Teachers did have a significant impact for my learning academic literacy, especially when the support is there I felt comfortable and feel free to be myself. In fact after my father which was my first teacher, if it wasn’t for my teachers I wouldn’t be able to achieve what I have done. My teachers not only set positive, comfortable learning environment, they also set forth challenges along with new experiences to aid my literacy.
