When one takes this massive amount of dough and compares it to the average salary of a middle class citizen, which ranges from 42,000 dollars to 125,000 dollars, one would notice that the NBA player makes substantially more than the average citizen. Professional athletes should have smaller salaries because jobs that save lives get payed way less, ---, and the money they are getting could be used to help the community. When looking at the paychecks of athletes and the paychecks of people in the military or people who are doctors, you would realize, the athlete gets more money. I've always wondered why entertainers and athletes get paid more than doctors, lawyers, military personnel, etc. I disagree, I think that people who actually make an impact on our country should get a higher salary than people who just entertain us. I think it is unfair for military personnel and doctors to get paid only 30 to 60 thousand a year while actors and actresses get paid 300 thousand a year. I will explain a bit more in the next few paragraphs. The first reason I disagree is because the people that keep us safe and make sure we are healthy are paid very little while actors, singers, etc get a bigger annual salary just to act in a movie or sing one song.…
