Why Athletes Get Paid?

Beads of sweat down your forehead fall onto your shirt as you go beyond what seems humanly possible. Top level athletes give it their all everyday always training or endorsing products for training and so on and so forth. Also, to do what they do at a professional level against many other competitors shows the amount of dedication they have. Athletes for sure deserve high compensation for the work they do, They devote their life to the sport , Bring entertainment to millions of people, and if it isn't an easy job. My first reason why Athletes deserve high compensation is because they devote their lives to a sport. Athletes train every single day of their lives just to perform. This does not include the actual game day where they give it their all for everyone to see on national television. Not to mention having as strict a diet they have on top of everything else. Being away from family for long periods of time also can have a negative effect on them mentally. …show more content…
If it was an easy job there would not be such a high pay for it. This is the reason high risk jobs get paid so much. An example of this is skyscraper window cleaners have a very dangerous and hard job therefore they can get paid up to six figures depending on where they work. Athletes push their bodies to extremes constantly which by itself would make sense for the pay. After reading all of my reasons you may now understand the many thing Athletes do to get paid so much. If you had to wake up everyday to work out than afterwards eat not what you want but something very restricted instead. Also, Be away from your family and friends constantly traveling and being sore than you would understand the amount of work and dedication top level Athletes have to put
