People snicker at her, stared at, talked about behind her back, everything a kid hates. Melody can not change the fact she is in a wheelchair or that she is different. When people, like her ,are bullied, it is not like they can just change at the bullies command. If you have autism and you are bullied, you do not always understand what the bullies are saying to you. “Normal problems of school and social life, is exalted” I used to know a girl with autism. Once when we were out, three kids showed up and started ganging up on her while I was getting out food. I saw what was happening and when I came back she acted like nothing happened. She had no idea what the other kids were doing to her, she thought they were just having “fun”. Autism just does not affect the kid with autism, it also impacts the families of those kids. The family has more pressure on them and is foreseen on to be a better family and keep a close eye on their child. I know from experience, I know some kids with autism and they all have struggles. When you have a kid with a disability it is a lot of work. You might have to spend more time at home, or buy special equipment for your kid. If your kid is like Melody, she/he can not speak. They might need to buy them a device to help them speak. Overall, it is not as easy as you might think when you have a disabled
