The main difference that I noticed between the anecdotal and running records, was that it was easier for me to write, what I was observing because I had an extremely hard time remember enough information using the anecdotal record method. I also thought that I was exceptionally lucky that one of the infants was sleeping until I got through using the anecdotal method and the other two infants did not show up until I was using the running record …show more content…
I found out that my observation experience allowed me to understand what observing is about and how one should record their information from their observation. It also showed me the positive and negative experience while using the anecdotal and running record methods. The one question that I had was that when I was told that my host teacher watches four infants at once, my first thought was how could she give the children enough face time especially with one infant being a premature infant. While I have read the course information, I do not recall any information about how many infants should one adult be responsible for? I also know that it is not logical for them to only watch one infant
