Personal Narrative: Underwater Beach

I broke both my femurs, and probably not how you would expect someone to break they’re femurs. Every year, my whole family including my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents go to our lake cabin in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. I was about three years old this year and I was quite the little spunky child.
We finally arrived to our cabin. I love this place! We have so many fun memories and experiences. I just wanted to go run around and play on everything. But, mom said “Cass, no. You need to wait until everybody gets unpacked and settled in.” I said “Why wait, you can do it, and I’ll go play.” Mom did not like that. So I waited and waited. It seemed like I have never waited so long in my life. All I wanted to do was go play. Like seriously

I get my foot stuck in the water blower and I am spinning I feel my water shoes get tighter and tighter. Something 's weird. I am breathing. Underwater. Something else is not right. I see. Like everything clearly. Underwater.
“What is going on?” I speak out loud
“How can I be talking like normal, underwater?”
“Hey! Who are you?” I hear a voice come out of nowhere.
“ Umm, who are you? Do you know what’s going on?” I speak to who or whatever that was.

I am shocked. I freeze. My eyes get so wide as bring my hands to my legs and I am touching fins on my legs. I have a tail. I am a mermaid now. “I am a mermaid.” I say shocked and afraid to the fish. “Well you must be new to this.” Mr. Bubbles says. “Why don’t I show you around. Follow me.” Mr. Bubbles first had to teach me how to swim with this new tail on me. I couldn’t get the hang of it for the longest time but, finally I got it. I could swim fast, twirl, flip, and do all sorts of things I could never do before without this tail. He took me and showed me all around the waters. He showed me how he keeps all the fish organized and what all his job does. After he took me through the waters, welcomed me, and introduce me to the fish. We played around, had swim contests, and so much more. It was getting dark, fast. I then started to think about my family. I came here with them. I missed them. I wanted to see them again. Were they looking for me? Do you think they thought I drowned? I need to get back to normal I need to see my family and tell them I’m okay. “Mr. Bubbles, this was all so fun, but I can’t live like this forever, I need to be with my family.” I
