Summary The case of “My Brief Career As a Bureaucrat” by North focus on the problems with bureaucracy. Some of these problems include inappropriate languages used by the employees in the organization, no management control in the organization, no efficiency and productivity in the organization. The workers at the organization are not passionate about their job positions and they embraced incompetency. Bureaucracy is filled with people who cannot be fired from their job positions even though they need to be due to incompetence and so forth. There are unfair promotions of certain employees in the organization because managers do not want to deal with these certain employees.
