War isn’t something I believe I will ever truly know what it is like unless I have to go. I believe this exhibit gave me more insight to what these soldiers’ lives are like. I truly believe that everyone should have to look at an exhibit like this at least once. This showed me what some of struggles and accomplishments are from a soldier’s point of view. Being an American and not knowing what our soldiers have to experience on a daily basis frustrates me a lot. America is such a patriotic country yet Americans have no clue what is truly going on in combat. While some may not want to know the ugly truth behind the wars that are active members and veterans have gone through I feel as in this exhibit and this book has made me realize we should know more. While the truth may be very ugly at least we could be more aware of what these members go through to keep their civilians safe. While we sit on our butts at home watching TV there are thousands of men and women risking their lives for us. What have we done to support them? Nothing really unless you count leaving veterans on the streets in the cold as
