To me, being an American means that I am not forced into doing anything I don't want to do, like being forced to work in horrible conditions like they make kids do in other countries. Also, I am free, like free to choose how much money I make and how and where I would like to work (The American Dream). Here in the US, we have way more choices than other countries, like religion and jobs. Here we have the freedom of religion, we can practice just about any religion we want to like Christianity or Judaism. Also we can have any job we want to have like a business owner or an electrician.
