Comedy movies are more than just light entertainment on a Saturday afternoon – or a great option for a date night! The funniest movies tend to live on even after the credits have rolled out. The British comedy group did a number of laughable movies, but the Holy Grail is perhaps the group’s best.

3. Some Like It Hot (1959)
Marilyn Monroe is often remembered only for her looks, but she was also a great comedy actress. In 1959, director Billy Wilder created this funny movie with Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.
In the movie, two musicians, played by Lemmon and Curtis, flee after witnessing a horrific massacre. In order to disguise, they decide to dress up as female. Unfortunately, one of them falls for the seductive singer Sugar (Monroe) and chaos ensues.
4. This Is Spinal Tap (1984)
Mockumentaries are a big thing these days, but this Rob Reiner movie is the ultimate grandfather of them all.
