Eddie and his family are all trying to fit in and live the life they were living in Washington, surrounded by new and strange things and much more to explore. It first aired on February 4, 2015, so it is fairly new to the crowd. Constance Wu plays
Jessica Huang aka the Mother, Randall Park plays Louis Huang aka the Father, Hudson Yang plays Eddie Huang, Forrest Wheeler plays Emery and Ian Chen plays Evan Huang aka the brothers. Something that I noticed is that whenever Eddie would come into the scene a rap song or tune would start to play. It shows that Eddie has moved past his customs and his cultural music and changed to a different or more diverse ones. Also there was a repetition of how Eddie felt during the episode. Throughout the whole episode Eddie kept thinking that his parents don’t stand up for him and don’t support him, but at the end when his parent stood up for him after the fight he had, he understood that his parents do support and stand up for him in important situations and will continue to do so.
This show is funny and made me smile and laugh throughout the episode. There were some parts that were hard to understand but you just had to understand the deeper meaning behind
