Mission Carnival Wrap-up and Evaluation

TURN IN TO GOOGLE CLASSROOM BY THE DUE DATE. Why did we have the Mission Carnival? Why right before Lent and on Mardi Gras? We have Mission Carnival to donate to the less-fortunate and to celebrate. It contributes to the service aspect of Confirmation because we are doing what God would want us to do, which is to help out the poor. We did this by donating all the money we raised to Melissa’s Hope, an orphanage in Haiti. We are all getting closer to becoming a full member of the Church by our actions in this year’s Mission Carnival. This project has helped me understand what God wants us to do as members of the Church and has given me an idea of what I want to do when I am older. 4. How would you rate yourself and your class as a whole on taking initiative for this big event and project? (Use a scale of 1-10 with the highest degree of initiative). Explain your reasons for your determination. Out of ten, I would rate our class’ efforts on Mission Carnival a nine. This is because as a whole, the games were successful and we sold a whole bunch of tickets. With the help of parents and teachers, we made this year’s Mission Carnival one of the best in a long time. From the smile on their faces, I could tell the kids had an exciting and thrilling time while playing the games. I think that I tried my best to make our booth as best as it could be by spending extra time decorating and setting up for the Carnival. 5.
