I will explain the purposes of an induction and how they benefit individuals and organisations and I have included an induction timeline which can be used when new staff are selected. 2.0 Findings
Activity 1 * Identifies and assesses at least 4 factors that affect an organisation’s approach to attracting talent. Four factors that can affect an organisations approach to attracting talent are:- 1. Training & Development: A good training and development programme will attract applicants who would like to learn new skills or better themselves in their careers 2. A good reputation: If an organisation has a good reputation for being known as a good employer and for looking after its staff this would attract the right talent that is needed for a vacancy. 3. Offering the right package: If an organisation offers a good benefits package maybe one that reflects flexibility towards family needs this will attract a wider range of applicants and will also help to keep existing employees. 4. Economic Environment: The organisation has to consider what budget is available for attracting talent. This will then affect how the organisation advertises and could be restricted if there is a low budget as advertising using recruitment agencies can be expensive.
