It is important for my company to identify that different customers have different needs and by using marketing segments, which separates similar clients into categories, they are able to focus on their similar needs. By understanding what market segment is I can apply it in the marketing of Therapy Life Centre because I will be able to identify the customer’s needs, such as what products or treatments are most suitable for them, I will be able to understand the behaviour of the market and I can identify the size of the market.

To identify the characteristic, motivations and behaviours of potential target customers I would take an analytical methodology and look into what mediums they are most likely to see the business being promoted on, what would be a USP about Therapy Life Centre to make it stand out to them and look at any competition to gain a basic understanding of any threats surrounding the business. The characteristics of the potential target audience that I would need to know is what type of customers already use Therapy Life Centre’s services so that I can identify the most likely potential target customers. By understanding what would motivate a potential target customer to use our services, for example if I was promoting a yoga class by understanding the benefits of it I can market it to working class potential target customers because I know that their careers can induce stress which yoga can tackle. To identify the behaviour of potential target customers I would look at factors such as their age for example to understand how likely it is that they would use mediums such as Facebook, which is unlikely, so I would know instead to advertise on sites that link in with the services of The …show more content…
The main benefit of the customer relationship management is that it can help me during my marketing by letting me know what customers are interested in, for example if I was to advertise a yoga course all I would need to do to find customers that I know it would appeal to most is search up those who have previously attended or selected it as one of their interests when they filled out an inital form that was put on the system at their first time attending. Another use of the customerrelationship management is that it can be used to make strategic decisions such as offering discounts to ex clients to ensure that they become loyal customers who use our service in the future and it can also be used to see which therapists are generating the least business so I know who needs to be focused on more when advertising the
