Zulily is an e-commence website that provides its consumers flash sales every day. In mid-2009, Vadon and Cavens chose “Zulily” to be the company’s name. After that, “Zulily went live on January 27, 2010 with an initial focus on children’s apparel (Gayomali, 2015)”. Several months later, Zulily decided to expend their merchandise category. The company added women’s products on sale in December 2010. In 2013, Zulily wen to public and its market cap increased up to $7 billion in 2014.
Target Consumer Zulily is a business to consumer e-commence website. The main target customer that Zulily focus on is moms aged 30 to 45 (Nyitray, 2015). These young moms are willing to spend their free time on browsing website and looking for discount products

At first, Zulily mainly focuses on children’s apparel. Few months later, Zulily expended its deal category to moms, children, and babies’ apparel products. Instead of providing merchandise that consumers only purchase once or twice, Zulily offers customers various choices on products they need every day. These daily based merchandise will let customers return to the website again. Moreover, Zulily decided to focus its products on emerging companies and boutique products that allow the company provides unique merchandise to customers (Nyitray, 2015; Zulily Has Been, 2014). Zulily posts new sales events and products every morning, and customers can only purchase these products within a certain time period. The website does not have any rating system and customer review because once the deal ends, the products disappear.
