QRT2 – Task 1
Clients will be able to use credit and debit cards for their purchases. The client will select items from the product list and place them in the cart. When they are ready to purchase they will enter their credit card and coupon information. If the user is signed into the website their information will come up automatically; to access credit card information they will have to sign in one additional time to ensure security. Macy will also use this solution to promote a new exclusive line of products that are only available in this area via her salon. This system will provide inventory control; something that is done manually today. Shipping with major carriers is also supported. Secure credit card processing is a key function.

Daddy has comprehensive, reasonably priced services that are a one -stop shop for creating an online presence. The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system estimates are based on a cloud based solution from Sales Force (Para 2, 2012). This system is recommended because it is cloud based which means no hardware infrastructure to implement. It also allows for growth as the CRM requirements changes

with increased sales. Integration, design, and maintenance services estimates are based on a local developer that provided an estimate.
Premium services (e.g. web site protection, premium DNS, SSL) are recommended to improve the safety perception of the site and encourage use of the online CRM services that will be integrated (Go Daddy, 2012). The addition of search engine optimization, email marketing and survey, pay-per-click, and web based email all contribute to increasing a positive online presence and tying web activity to website call to actions.
