Philosophy Of Inclusive Early Childhood Education

My first grade teacher left a lasting positive impression on me; she was kind, caring, loving and always there for each and every student. That impression, the positive impact and those memories have stayed with me each and every day; it is so rewarding to know that a teacher can have so much influence on a young child. This is one of the main reasons I have chosen a career in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. Being a teacher, I know that I too will be able to provide a young child with the same kind of positive influence.
As a senior in high school I had the opportunity to participate in the Mentorship Program. The goal of the program is to allow the students to experience a career by gaining a first-hand experience. Eight weeks are

I gained new insights about elementary education; I did not realize the teachers receive pressure from the government, state, principle, and the student’s parents. Also, the amount of time teachers put into their work, inside and outside of the classroom is far more than the average 40 hour work week.
I have learned that becoming a teacher requires responsibility; you have to remember that it is always about the children. It’s your duty to help them gain the knowledge that they need in order to move onto the next grade and to set a foundation for them to be successful in the future. No matter what happens during the day, teachers always have to make it a successful one in order for the students to learn everything they need in the school year. I will take the information and use it to the best of my ability; and hopefully be the best elementary school teacher that my students look up to.
I have always had an interest in helping people; being around young children, seeing them grow and develop on a daily basis is very rewarding, what better place to see this development first hand than through the eyes of the children, as an elementary school

Elementary education will allow me to fulfill my dreams of helping and impacting the lives of children; having the ability to show each student that I care and everyone is special and unique in their own way. Showing them they are important, that one person can be anything they want to be; seeing them develop; grow; and watching their faces light up when they accomplish their goals; will not only be rewarding to them, but will reward me in so many ways.
I am a person who is organized, loyal, responsible, and patient; the skills needed to be an elementary education teacher. Elementary schools teachers provide ideas to help children to learn, grow, and develop socially and mentally. My work values and support of others, relationships, recognition and achievements while helping others as they succeed are values that will help me become a teacher whom others look up

Standing in front of a crowd, nerves shaking as I, a soon to be junior in high school, have decided to conduct for a community band. I had stepped up since the band was going to have a "year off" and had been working for several weeks with a small group of students. I found the venue, rehearsal hall, times, and the arrangements. The students and myself had put in long hours and the day had come to perform in front of the community. As I stepped up, I saw the nervous faces that I taught and smiled, turned around and introduced the band to the community.…

Personal Philosophy I believe that all children are unique and bring their own knowledge and experiences to any educational environment. I believe the early childhood environment is a place for children to be free agents to; develop, learn, grow and express themselves, while having the confidence and respect they as a person are entitled to. Furthermore I also belie that all children have the right to learn and their learning be abundant with experiences, knowledge and quality, as well as feeling a sense of belonging to their community and learning environment. These beliefs are important to my teaching and my philosophy of early childhood eduction.…

Philosophy Statement I have chosen to work in this field because I believe that early school years are the most significant in a child’s life as they lay the foundation for future education. True education is one that brings out the person’s potential. Education should encompass the whole child—intellectual, social, emotional and physical aspects of his/her being. Being a preschool teacher involves a true love for the career and working with children. "…

Depending where I teach I might have to guide a student who has been passed through the school system or a student from a bad background. The knowledge of how important a positive environment has on a student both cognitively and social shows me that it is important to know your students and help them become better people. My future class will probably have students like Michael Oher, this provides a challenge to me as an educator and I what I learned from this character in will give me some background knowledge on how to reach out to this type of student and hopefully propel them to become better citizens like the Tuohy family…

Early years of childhood have widely been recognised as the most important years of learning and development. “Research have shown the importance of these years to learn and acquire new skills” (DEECD, 2010), which have assigned a great responsibility to the educators working with the young children. As an early childhood educator, I feel that it is my responsibility to provide the high quality learning environment for the young children to learn, acquire and develop social, emotional, academic and technological skills. The following paper contains my philosophy statement, which includes my values and professional knowledge in relation to children, teaching and learning in early childhood education. Connor defines philosophy as “it can be used…

When I left Kindergarten, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher because of her and to this day I haven’t changed my mind about it. Becoming an educator is one the noblest professions an individual can go into. A teacher can have a powerful impact in a student’s live, both positive and negative. Teaching is one of the few careers that directly affect the future of our nation, and though this may be considered a cliché, the truth of the matter is that you may have a larger impact on children’s lives than some of their parents. You spend hours upon hours with your students, whereas busy or career-driven parents may not have the same opportunities. Becoming an educator is conducive to your home or family life, allows you to see the potential in students, and perhaps most notably, provides the opportunity for you to essentially mold lives within one short calendar year.…

“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning”. (Brad Henry) Not every person can be a teacher; it takes a certain kind of individual to be a teacher. Some qualities that teachers consume are patient, kindness, passionate, knowledge, and heart, also there are other many formal qualities that a teacher must need to be successful. At twelve years old in seventh grade I had this teacher that inspired me to become a teacher and ever since then, becoming a teacher has been a priority.…
