Introduction:

In the modern business world, new practices and aproaches are being introduced. When talking about new concepts the most important concepts being used nowdays in Human resource management are“Best Practice“ and “Best Fit“. There is a big increase on the debate between Best practice and Best fit, as to whether they general concept of Best practice is benificial to every organization and similarly the same for the concept of Best fit. Best practice suggests certain types of practices are universally successfull while Best fit acknowledges the relevent impact of contextual factors. Further below we will look into detail the two concepts in question and see how they are similar

Best Fit:

In the ‘best fit’ approach there is no universal prescriptions for HRM practices. It is all depending on the context and culture of the organisation. In my opinion 'best fit' have a much bigger role than 'best practice', although it can be represented in choosing what best fits the organization, it will be useful to know the best practices, until it is respected as universally applicable. Once the subject of a systematic approach to policy formulation and development staff is accepted, the next thing to do is address the need for vertical integration.
The “best fit" confirm that the reward system must be willing to approve of the organization's business strategy in order to achieve a competitive advantage. This strategie gives a value for the organization and the reason is the approach that has motivated performance within the organization. We can find two aspects of motivation. The first is the input of an employee and the second was derived from the organization. The agreement between these two functions must be equivalent, otherwise employees will lose motivation to work.
