One of the advantages from my health-care experience is that it has prepared me to be familiar with the practice of a PA. Working as a medical technologist, I have countless times interact with a PA. I could foretell the lab works a PA will order; how a PA will interpret the lab results. Consequently, even during my employment, my desire to become a PA is getting stronger. Because I want to become the one who could provide crucial care that might save a life; the one who could make a difference in the lives of the low-income residents I interact with; I want to channel my academic abilities and work ethics in a direction that will allow me to have an impact on many people’s lives.
