The different roles in healthcare system shared different expertise and skills, it means aimed to different problems, one patient will receive variety of services if these healthcare professionals communicate as a team and have a same purpose. According to two years research from a hospital in the University of California, Los Angles, the collaboration of MDT can increase the satisfaction of patients and various kinds of healthcare professionals. People who solve the professional problems with the expertise, this can determine the work efficiency and decrease the costs (Vazirani et al., 2005). The advantage of communication in MDT work includes wide range of ideas sharing, critical thinking of assumption, and guard against group think (Christophe, 2010). A lot of literature shows that the complexity of healthcare, with the limitation of human acknowledgement, it is very important that healthcare professionals from different backgrounds share their findings in team work. And this is the reason why clinical doctor and nurses and other health professionals requires a standard communication tool to express their findings and concerns in suitable environments. And for achieve this, the effective group communication will increase teamwork and reduce risks in medical care (O’Daniel and Rosenstein,
