Animal Farm Theme Essay

So some might ask what is “Animal Farm”? Well it is a book that talks about animals but talks about actual human interactions. That's all I will say not to spoil it for you so let's dish on animal farm. So in the book there are four themes but in this essay I will touch on there that really give you the most insight on the book. The three themes that will be discussed are In a society individuals are not treated equal,Being uneducated or ignorant can lead to oppression,and lastly Language can be a powerful instrument of power and control.

So one theme says “In a society individuals are not always treated equal”. So we see there were two main explain of this theme. One example is Molly we saw that she wants the humans to be like Destiny's Child and cater to her. She got more attention from the humans she got fed sugar cubes. Also she was given ribbons to tie in her hair so other animals didn't get the same treatment as molly. One key claim that supports the theme is the quote made by boxer which states “Napoleon is always right.” This quote vocalizes that because you look up to someone superior you assume their always right. A real world example would be when a child believes everything an adults say because they are superior. So this adds to this theme by saying being uneducated can make you oppress because you don't realize what is going on that's why they say ignorance is bliss. Another quote that supports the theme is another quote which says “I will work harder”. This another boxer quote and he was uneducated and hardworking so that all he knew was hard work and loyalty. Which are good qualities to have just if he was educated he would see what was going on and had understanding of it. This also shows why it adds to this
