Animal Farm Comparison Essay

The novel Animal Farm has many similarities, but on the other hand, there are more differences. The novel and the movie include many similarities such as when they have to write the seven commandments on the farm, the animalism flag, and also Old Major’s meeting and speech. First of all the seven commandments’ main point takes place on the farm, which developed mainly on the pigs.The commandments that mainly came from Old Major’s meeting before he died. Additionally the animalism flag built by the animals in the farm. The flag that they built represented power in the farm. For example, in the book, they include a song called the beasts of England. The song’s importance made the animals join in the beginning of the book. This song wants to make the animals change in the farm. However, this event did not happen in the movie. In addition Old Major’s death was very different. In the novel, Old Major dies from natural causes resting three days after the meeting. On the other hand, in the movie, Old Major does not die quietly, he gets shot by Jones with no in advance notice during the meeting. In addition, in the novel the animals did not watch TV. In the movie when they do watch tv is because they start a rebellion. Furthermore in the novel they had a lot of trouble trying to build the windmill. They wanted to build the windmill because it would perform the decision about if they should or they should not make communism bigger, but building it was a major trouble. Although they had much trouble in the novel, in the movie, it was a piece of cake. The animals did not make it a big deal it seemed very easy to
