Why does animalism fail?
"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
All this started when the Manor farm had their oldest pig have a dream. Major had a dream that one day the animals would be free of the control of the humans. When Major died the animals took action, they thought that they could make Major's dream come true. His dream was about how when people find out that their animals can not be useful they just get rid of them. All the animals didn't’ want that to happen. They thought that they could do so much better off without Jones.
The failure of animalism in animal farm all started war with Napoleon. He wanted to change everything he wanted power. He slowly started turning into what jones was. He was behind …show more content…
Once Major died the role of leadership went to Napoleon, Snowball, and Squealer. Snowball wants to listen to what the animals want by heart, but soon after Napoleon start getting vastly excited with the fact that all the animals had to go to his command. He had Squealer to back him but ahd the dogs to attack anyone that went against him.
In the beginning of the books they stood by the 7 commandments, by about Chapter 9 and on, it was that the commandments are write to only about one rule that some animals are equal and some aren’t. Like the pigs, especially Napoleon. If you didn’t have a big rule you were on the bottom. Slowly the pigs started turning into Farmer Jones. Making orders and doing nothing.

When they did the dogs ripped their throats out right there. The 6th commandment says “No animal shall kill any other animal.” Napoleon told everyone that by them conspiring against him, so it was fine for the him to kill them. “Clover asked Benjamin to read her the Sixth Commandment, and when Benjamin, as usual, said that he refused to meddle in such matters, she fetched Muriel. Muriel read the Commandment for her. It ran: “No animal shall kill any other animal WITHOUT CAUSE.””. The animals thought that the last two words had slipped their memories when really they were never there until this contractually happened.
With having animals that think they are better than one another calls for animalism to fail. You can’t have animals in charge. Napoleon was in charge and if you didn’t do what he directed for chores or jobs to do then you would die. It’s the fact that he didn’t follow any of the rules he made for everyone. When they were building the windmill and it fell over one night they all thought it was Snowball which it was, he said build it bigger and taller.
