Hardwork In High School

Everyday, teens go to school. Six classes, seven hours, five days a week, They all learn the same things. So, how do you set yourself apart from the crowd? In a country based on standardized tests, you have to work hard in order make yourself stand out. So many people just barely get by in life because they are afraid to work a little harder to make themselves better off. Students do not realize the importance of getting good grades and involving themselves in their school and community to prepare for their future. So many kids have never had to push themselves and then they enter the workforce without any idea of what is expected of them or what it is like to work hard. While in some cases this is true, most people are fully capable of learning just like everyone else. Good grades are the result of good work ethics, good focus and a good attitudes. These days in high school, students can retake things as many times as they need, there is no reason a student should have lower than a B in a class. Kids are given every opportunity to succeed, but some are simply too lazy and do not want to put forth the work to have good grades and prepare themselves for college and their life ahead of them.
Hard work is the key to being successful. With today 's population rising and computers replacing humans, the way colleges review applications to get into college and finally the proper credentials to actually get a job, students can not slack off. When a student does not apply themselves to their full potential they, deserve to be put behind those who do. If someone wants the best for them, they must give their all.
