Most of the time, the teachers say that students do not try hard enough, or do not care about school, but in reality a student CAN care, but just cannot retain information. Their teachers may give them as much help as they can, but many students still find it hard to do a lot of work at once.

One thing that separate high achievers from low achievers is that high achievers are more successful. High achievers are above average while low achievers are scoring mediocre. When a low achiever has a learning disability it is not easy for them to score higher than others. High achievers have practicing habits that help them when they are studying or during class, whereas low achievers have not even made habits to practice with. It is not because they do not think that they need them, but because they do not know how to make them. High achievers tend to “strike the iron while it is hot” (10 Traits).
