I enjoyed reading your discussion board and found it to be both insightful and thought provoking. Your comment that innovation is evolutionary in nature struck a chord with me. I too believe that the future of healthcare depends on our ability to innovate and evolve in our ever changing, quality driven, highly competitive, healthcare environment. I was surprised by your comment that comparing Evidence-based practice (EBP) and innovation is a perversion. I am still not certain what you mean by that statement and wonder if you could elaborate more? I view EBP and innovation to be very synergistic in nature.
