Bullying is a controversial issue, whether it may be from discrimination or any form of harassment.
Bullying, discrimination, harassment and many more like cases occurs quite often through various ways. Many times it occurs in public and other times it occurs where no one can see but you and that other person. Whatever way it happens; it happens and few that have against it. People don’t realize the harm of such actions and if they do they don’t show signs that they care until something happens. Whatever it may be, the use of slurs (racial or nonracial) are high and have an impact on one’s mentality even though they might seem fine. There was this kid that lived in my neighborhood, who enjoyed picking on me through racial slurs. I’m not sure why he thought it was fine to mess with me but he did it anyways. It’s not like I didn’t try to stop him; it’s just that my words didn’t appear to get to him. Well you know what they say; if your words don’t get to them then your fists will. Yeah, I’m not sure if people actually say that or not, but for my case I kind of want to avoid as much trouble as I can. Also, violence won’t solve anything because even if you justify your cause. You’ll still have to endure the punishment for misconduct, especially as a student. Thus, the rage inside me that wanted to beat that kid to a little pulp dispersed through shear willpower. As well as my laziness. I may have verbally threaten him to leave me alone, but my threat wasn’t taken seriously therefore he continued his mocking. The reason was probably the fact I didn’t do anything severe that would make an impact. I don’t regret my actions. Later on, during high school, I transferred due to other
