Immigrants are more likely to have low-paying jobs. Immigrants make up a good chunk in the workplace (17.1%) but most of the jobs they own are low-paying and this means that they are not being given a chance to move up unlike average US citizens. Education in the US is unbalanced and unfair. Schools in richer communities get more money and school funding varies from state to state. The fact that school funding has so much fluctuation from area to area means that the level of education US students receive is very unbalanced throughout the States. Poor people get treated differently than “rich people” because money is more important than people in poverty. Minimum wage work is becoming more common while job productivity is increasing. More people are performing minimum wage work than ever before while productivity is increasing which means people are working hard for their employees but are still in poverty because they are not being adequately paid. I estimate that if this continues the level of poverty in our country will continue to rise and our country will be millionaires versus poverty stricken
