It is left up to assumption what charges he will face, but knowing that he has taking lives with his decision to drink and drive he will be looking at many years in prison. Showing statistics like “Car crashes are the leading cause of death for teens, and about one-third of those are alcohol related” (0:18-0:21) is a strong message to show the students that this accident scene is not the only one, but happens all over the country on a daily basis. Therefore, it is logical to expect this result if they consciously make the decision to drink and…
In Jun 16, a girl was hit by a car. She was finishing loading a car with everything she, her mon and little five years old sister was bringing to donate to Church organization. When the car hit her, she broke the windshield with her head, and she went flown by 50 feet. The driver was under the influence of alcohol; he was so drunk that he did not realize what had happened. By chance a policeman was given a ticket to another driver and he saw everything that happen.…
My recommendation for Jimmy would be for him to continue to strengthen his fine and gross motor skills. Jimmy really enjoyed playing the guitar when I let him play with the instruments. If Jimmy were to play the guitar that would continue to work on his fine motor skills. Keep challenging him, if there is something that he isn’t too good at he will get mad. Once he learns the game and he works on it he will gain strength and will learn not to get mad when he doesn’t know how to do something.…
We’re taught to believe what is morally wrong and right to lead our lives. And in doing so, it should allow us to live life based on our morals free from the constrictions of ethical laws brutally enforced upon us. Although James Dillard, a medical resident, acted selflessly to save a drunk man’s life, looking back on it, he regrets risking his future as a doctor to save the man, a selfish act. Dillard’s moral standards as an almost qualified doctor to save the drunk man’s life were morally right.…

When a person chooses to get behind the wheel of a car while being intoxicated, not only are they endangering themselves, but they are threatening everyone around them. The drunk driver begins to view the world as a blur, and they are not able to think properly. “On average, two in three people will be involved in a drunk driving crash in their lifetime” ("Driving While Impaired -- Alcohol and Drugs”). One moment the driver is on the highway going home and boom! The next he has hit the front of an S.U.V, that contains a family of six.…

Every year more than forty-thousand people die in car accidents whether it is their fault or not. This number varies on all the deaths including adults, children and most of all teenagers. “There are about one-hundred deaths per day in the United States.” Most of these fatalities occur during evenings on weekends than on weekdays. You decide to grasp the wheel of a vehicle after being intoxicated with a mind boggling substance. Sip, drive, swerve, hit, kill, are the only things you can mourn as in a flash, a child lay lifeless on the concrete road until it's spirit is released and slaps you across the face for the unfixable mistakes you had made. In 1980, there were 27,000 alcohol related traffic fatalities that had occurred in the United States, with 2,500 in California alone (Phillips). On May 3rd of 1980, that number had risen as the life of Cari Lightner was taken by a repeat drunk driving offender, whose actions caused him to lose control. However, what he didn’t know, was his unforgivable actions were the cause of a life-saving phenomenon.…

No one in this world wants to lose a family member to a drunk driver. Drinking and driving should not happen in the United States. Bars should take more actions, people need to plan ahead of time before going out and learn to limit themselves on how many drinks and money spent or the people should start a program for people just turning twenty one on drinking and driving and the consequences. Most people do not realize the great risk of drunk driving to ones life or others. Take more time to look at driving under the influence and making the streets safer.…
One of my older friends I knew back in high school went out drinking with some friends. He decided to drive the vehicle back home while drunk. His choices to drive drunk caused them to swerve and wreck, killing one of the passengers in his truck, whom was a very sweet and loved girl. He has gone on to give countless speeches about the horrific accident and give his heartbreaking testimony on why people shouldn’t drink and drive. Every time he tells the story you can hear the sadness and heartbreak in his voice, and the pain behind his eyes because he blames himself for what happened to her.…
