Diversity is an important trait in a business or your life in general. There are very many reasons as to why this is a true statement. Diversity is a range ofor different things or a variety. It could be a very beneficial trait to have but could also be very hard to find that trait, especially when you live in the same environment for a long period of time. There are a few ways to explore and find this part of you, but many cannot. Diversity is the key to creativity. What does diversity mean to you? Creativity comes from diversity. When we need to fix something or present information to a class or a business group, we often think of basic ways to do so. What would come to your mind first when told to present? Powerpoint, Charts, images? All things we have learned to do in our culture and has become a second nature to our brains. We never try to find ways of doing things differently, why would we when we already know how to present something. We all do things the same way, which is the “right” way to us. A group of people working on a project brings more ideas to the table and potential diversity. Talking about everyone’s ideas and finding ways to incorporate them together or just listen to others ideas can make your mind think more out of the box. A group of people can be great due to different gender roles in the mix. Having a man 's experience and women 's experience could be very beneficial especially when we have different backgrounds. Also, men and women tend to have different views on things which could bring on a debate and open our minds to thinking of different reasons and explanations. Having a diverse team is incredibly important because each one can play a different role and bring in their experience. Diversification in a company could be crucial to your success. To have a diverse company, hire people with different levels of education, people from out of the country and different experiences. This will help the company be different from the other companies out there and have a lot more to offer for the success. Gender plays a pretty large part in diversity in a company as well. Having different cultures and education mixed together can make people bring their ideas to the table and create new ideas from each person 's
