The Foundation of Disney

“First, think. Second, believe. Third, dream. And finally, dare.”-Walt Disney. Disney dared to put his ideas in motion and went to Hollywood to pursue his dreams in the entertainment business. All Disney had as a child was his ideas and drawings. Disney started his career with a different company before deciding to make his own. Disney started his company in 1923 with the production of his first show. Disney has impacted the culture for little kids to adults with its education shows on Disney jr. and to theme parks.

For the purpose of making Disney came about from Walt Disney’s ideas. Disney and his ideas started when ”Disney was born in Chicago in 1901, the son of a ne 'er-do-well father who drifted from one job to another. He learned to work hard early in life and had little escape from the everyday drudgery except for the drawings he created.”(Hanson,2015,para.3). Disney and his drawings lead him to making Disney. The making of Disney started with a different company ”In 1919 Disney went to work for the Kansas City Film Ad Company, where he put his drawing talents to use working on short animated commercials for local merchants.”(Hanson, 2015, para.4). This is just the start of Disney’s career. Disney starts off his career this way to get a feel of the business, then makes his company with the help from his brother.
