His fame started out slowly but once his love for drawing and cartoons mixed there was no stopping him. Walt Disney was considered to have influenced Americans lives more than most individuals. He had a tremendous impact with something so minuscule as cartoons. He just had developed a love for cartoons and wanted to win others over to that side. Him and his co-worker could get permission from the Kansas City’s local theater to show their short clips they had created. They called them “laugh-o-grams”. He later went on and created his own studio all because the short clips had become rather popular for him. (Walt Disney Biography.) His first creation was Mickey Mouse. He originally wanted to name it Mortimer, but his wife said the name was to proper and suggested the name Mickey.
