The d'Isigny family settled in the town now known as Norton Disney, south of the city of Lincoln, in the district of Lincolnshire.

His dad Elias Disney moved from Huron District, Ontario to the United States in 1878, looking for first for gold in California however at long last cultivating with his guardians close Ellis, Kansas until 1884.
