As we reach them at a young age, we continue to engage them and build relationships so that they remain with the Lord, and with our church. Barna asserts, “Few believers have relationships that hold them accountable for spiritual development.” Young people are able to reach their generation most effectively and, in turn, bring in other young people. Another passage that relates to our youthful focus is in I John 2:14. The young people are strong. The body of Christ needs strong, vigilant, vibrant soldiers. Though older people are still effective, relevant, and much needed, the young people have the strength to carry out the vision that God has given. They are bold, courageous, and willing. They are fearless. Also, they do not have the responsibilities that can limit adults, such as living expenses, careers, and children to care for. Further, they have the energy and health to get the job done. A final key scripture that illustrates the necessity of a powerful youth discipleship program is Acts 2:17. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

It has already been decreed. The young people are going to usher in the final move of God before Christ
