Analysis
Hawkins and Clinton’s Integration Approach
I believe Hawkins and Clinton (2015) use the Allies Paradigm approach because Christ often referred to as the leader and the manager of all lives. The Christian counselor, is a subordinate to God and follows the inspiration of love and trust. There is no doubt that Christ is the manager because of the biblical teaching. The Christian counseling is the messenger and the deliverer of inspirations from God. As a partner of God, the counselor is working to help empower the client to accept the unchanging passion of God.
Model of Integration. Allies Paradigm model is comparable to Hawkins and Clinton (2015) with assessment, goal setting, diagnosis, and implementation. Within those processes, the Christian counsel explores client issues, restraints, and sins. Throughout the steps, they are seeking and growing to accept the love of Christ. With the acceptance, there is transformation, and change.

Psychological and spiritual issues are the same because the Christ is the creator of all. Knowing who Christ is and how his authority is the only way to benefit the client in need.
Applications
The five concepts from the Hawkins and Clinton (2015) are knowledge, love, The Holy Spirit, Scripture, and listening.
Perception
Hawkins and Clinton (2015) model include having the knowledge and understanding to guide the client in difficult situations. When dealing with a client who has a mental illness, the Christian counseling must confess to God his need for wisdom and guidance. God will always answer the requests in his own delight, so the counselor is effective. Knowledge of the causes and effects of the mental illness is essential in order to define proper treatment methods.
Affection
Affection is presented with the love given by Christ. Christ is love. Counseling the mentally ill client requires having affection regardless of how negative the presentation. The Christian counselor must be already transformed. Transformation includes affection revealed to the client and demonstrated with the skills and care necessary to accomplish client change.
