Dangers Of Texting
Many people, mainly teenagers, text while driving and don’t think to consider the safety of themselves and others. Some teenagers, just like Chelsea in the Dr.Phil’s, film “Texting While Driving”, come into some near tragic experiences because of texting while driving and still don’t consider what they are doing a safety hazard. Chelsea stated that nothing can stop her from texting while driving. I’m sure she is not the only person who feels that way. Many people enjoy the convenience of texting while driving and that’s all they focus on. Most “texters” don’t look into the fact that if you’re giving the your phone attention, you aren’t giving the road your full attention and you are putting yourself and others at risk

The text message added to the humor of the film because of what it said. Apparently the guy she was texting had came out and told her that he was gay. Which was a kind of way as saying after all that was it worth it. The technique in the parody was very similar to the ones in Cow. After watching “The Making Of” British Text and Drive Car Crash Special Effects Breakdown” you got and understanding of how everything was set up and made into a film. The producers show you how during the accident they used smoke and backdrops also how they added in the flying cell phone for extra emphasis on the cause of the accident. Like during the shot where Cassie hits the window, in order to make it look very real, the producers removed the green screen and added the motion backdrop along with a window and blood. The “green screen” is the backdrop for shooting a film. The idea is if you use a simple color like green, which is often used over other colors, it is easy to replace with a still image or graphic picture. After the accident the only survivor Cassie, nicknamed cow in the film, was shocked to realize the truth and realness about the tragic car crash that she had just endured.
